Anne's Recent Reads

The Paris Wife - Paula McLain
Great book, told by Ernest Hemingway's first wife (she didn't write it), set in Paris.  Highly recommend it (even/especially if you don't like Hemingway)

A Dip in the Ocean: Rowing Solo Across the Indian - Sarah Outen
Randomly got this on Kindle from the library - it popped up as "available now" so I tried it.  Great story about a 23 year-olds planning and rowing a small boat for 3 months across the ocean.  Keeps you interested.

Unintended Consequences - John Ross
Almost done with this one...a whopper of a book. Sort of like the Atlas Shrugged of gun control history in the US.  Really interesting but long.  Historical fiction.  Definitely buy it used.

Gone Girl - Gillian Flynn
Whoa.  A tale of a relationship gone so, so bad.  Scary.  But great.

What's This All About?

Hi Bozeman Book Club Ladies!

Since we are usually reading good books in addition to what we choose for the monthly book, I thought it would be nice to have a place where we can share our thoughts on those books.  Use this as a place to post quick and dirty titles and authors or to go into more detail about your recent finds.  Hopefully this will be an easy to reference resource when you want to find out about a good recommendation without any hassle!
